At the Sound we have adapted our program to suit various needs and goals, from fitness kickboxing to competitive Kickboxing and MMA. We’re proud to have Kasey Smith, a champion martial artist, lead our program and train some of the Sea to Sky’s best martial artist.

The Sound Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is a grappling art and self defense system that focusses on ground techniques and leverage to defeat a larger and aggressive opponent.The Sound Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program will enhance your confidence, self-esteem, discipline, strength and fitness.Our structured curriculum is designed for children 5 and up and adults of all ages and skill levels.

Contrary to popular belief MMA is not full of bullies and ‘meatheads’, but rather athletes pursuing one of the most pure forms of competition.At The Sound, instructors and members train with a focus on discipline, character and development of mind and body that adhere to our values. Students are able to gain extensive knowledge, practice and conditioning through our various programs, open mat sparring and seminars.
